Five leading HYOSUNG affiliates (HYOSUNG Corporation, HYOSUNGTNC, HYOSUNG Heavy Industries, HYOSUNG Advanced Materials, and HYOSUNG Chemical) donated a sum of one billion won to the Share Hope Together 2024 by paying a visit to the Community Chest of Korea in Jung-gu, Seoul on December 13.

The Hyosung affiliates expressed their hope that the donation will be spent on building houses for Korean War veterans, helping career women land jobs, and running a program for teaching English at local centers for children.

 “We at HYOSUNG hope that the donation will be used to help needy people stay warm in winter. We will continue to lead others in voluntary activities as those striving to fulfill their social responsibilities,” Hyosung Chairman CHO Hyun-joon said.   

HYOSUNG engages in an array of social contribution activities under the slogan of “We will share others’ difficulties,” including provision of support for less-privileged people, support for disabled artists and those engaging in cultural activities, and effort for the protection of the homeland and provision of support for war veterans.
