The Next Chemistry. Hyosung's chemical material technology always accompanies us in our convenient daily life.
We produce a variety of chemical products, including TPA, which is exported to countries such as Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, and polypropylene (PP), including R200P, which holds the world's largest market share. In particular, ‘POKETONE™’, the brand of polyketone which was successfully commercialized for the first time in the world, is a new engineering plastic material and is a core material that will lead the global parts industry based on its excellent properties and competitiveness.

Hyosung Chemical: High-quality Polyprolylene
We operate our own propane dehydrogenation process (DH) to stably procure high-purity propylene, the raw material for polypropylene resin (PP), and thereby supply high-quality polypropylene (PP) to the world.
Film Market Expansion
The TAC film is Korea's first self-developed and mass-produced electronic material that is used in LCDs such as TVs, monitors, laptops, and mobile phones. Based on the TAC film technology, we are proactively responding to the changing display market such as the automotive display market.

‘POKETONE™’ is the next-generation engineering plastic that Hyosung Chemical successfully commercialized for the first time in the world. It is an eco-friendly new polymer material that uses carbon monoxide and olefin as raw materials. Hyosung Chemical develops advanced source materials used in various parts of our daily lives, from PP/DH materials for producing pipes, medical devices, and heat-resistant home appliances, to terephathalic acid (TPA), which serves as the raw material for PET bottles, and POKETONE™, the world’s first commercialized material free of hazardous substances.

Hyosung ITX: Hyosung ITX operates a contact center business that strategically manages corporate communication channels, an IT service business that provides various network infrastructures and designs and builds IT systems, and a display solution business that provides video equipment sales and installation services. Galaxia Moneytree: Galaxia Moneytree is a fintech company with strong technological edge. It offers online and offline payment services like credit card and mobile payments. It is the first company in Korea to issue and distribute mobile department store gift certificates, and holds the top market share in the domestic convenience store prepaid payment market. Building on its traditional payment business, it has launched a convenient payment platform called 'Moneytree' and a prepaid recharge card called 'Moneytree Card,' entering the physical card market.
