As part of its efforts to promote creative activities by artists with disabilities, Hyosung will sponsor <The Art of Tilting>, a thematic exhibition on disability-geared art to be held at the Hangaram Art Museum’s 7th Exhibition Hall on the Seoul Arts Center premises from September 26 (Thu) to October 15 (Wed). 

< The Art of Tilting> explores the artistic world of the 14th resident artists comprised of six teams from the Seoul Disability Arts Center affiliated with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. This exhibition captures the unique characteristics of each artist, such as disability, age, and gender, as ‘tilting’, and takes on the meaning of actively embracing one’s own ‘tilting’ to change oneself and understand one another. In particular, it provides tactile appreciation tools, sign language, voice guidance, Braille, screen readers, etc. for both those with disabilities and without to easily spectate. 

Since 2018, Hyosung has been supporting the Seoul Disability Arts Center to promote the creative activities of artists with disabilities, in partnership with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. The company’s sponsorship goes toward artists’ support funds for their stable creative activities, promotional activities to publicize their capabilities and works, etc.

Meanwhile, Hyosung is undertaking various social contribution programs such as supporting the production of barrier-free films for the visually and hearing impaired, and Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Group initiatives to help children with disabilities participate in outdoor activities in order to realize a society where everyone can participate without barriers.
