Hyosung Heavy Industries announced on the 4th that it received the ‘$1 Billion Export Tower’ award at the 62nd Trade Day ceremony held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

The Export Tower is presented annually to companies that have contributed to developing overseas markets and increasing exports. The award is based on cumulative export performance over a one-year period, from July of the previous year to June of the current year.

Amid rapidly growing global demand for power infrastructure driven by the expansion of AI industries and data centers, Hyosung Heavy Industries achieved over $1 billion in exports during this period, representing an increase of more than 25% compared to the same period last year.

Hyosung Heavy Industries currently exports power equipment to more than 80 countries worldwide. In particular, exports have increased as the company provides customer-tailored total solutions based on localization strategies in key markets such as the U.S. and Europe.

In the U.S. power market, the company delivers not only extra-high voltage transformers, reactors, and circuit breakers, but also total solutions built around these products, leveraging reliability and technological expertise. Since entering the European market in 2010, Hyosung Heavy Industries has steadily expanded its presence by supplying extra-high voltage power equipment to countries including Sweden, the U.K., France, and Germany.

A Hyosung Heavy Industries official stated, “This award reflects the trust we have earned from our customers through our unique technological capabilities and total solution offerings. Going forward, we will continue to provide country-specific power equipment solutions and strengthen our position in the global market.”
