Hyosung TNC was selected as a ‘Company Recognized for Rural ESG Practices’, once again, reaffirming its status as a company exemplifying ESG management leadership. 

On the 16th, Hyosung TNC was selected as a ‘Company Recognized for Rural ESG Practices’ in recognition of its activities for win-win cooperation with rural and fishing communities at the ‘2024 Rural ESG Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs. In particular, it was also selected as a ‘Company Recognized for Rural ESG Practices’, which is given only to the top-10 companies, and received a commendation from the Chairman of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership (KCCP). In addition, it was awarded the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy commendation (Hyosung TNC PM Eun-bi Kim) as a contributor to the Mutual Cooperation Fund. 

Hyosung TNC donated clothing and bags made with regen-made recycled fibers to local community centers, schools, and children’s centers in Haman and Gumi, and sponsored a local environmental festival near the Dalseong Wetland in Daegu, where its business site is located. 

In addition, it was selected as a ‘Company Recognized for Endangered Wildlife Conservation Support’ by the National Institute of Ecology through activities such as supporting iron fences to protect endangered wild animals and prevent damage to farms, and conserving winter migratory birds. In December of last year, it was recognized as an excellent contributor to the Funds for Mutually Beneficial Cooperation and received a plaque of appreciation from the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs.
