Hyosung Donates Funds and Blood Donation Certificates to Korea Childhood Leukemia and Cancer Association

On February 5, Hyosung visited the headquarters of the Korea Childhood Leukemia and Cancer Association in Mapo-gu, Seoul to deliver KRW 30 million in funds and 322 blood donation certificates to support pediatric cancer patients.

The funds will be used to support the costs of surgery, treatment, and rehabilitation for children suffering from cancer who face financial difficulties due to the need for long-term treatment.

The 322 blood donation certificates, collected during a blood donation campaign in which Hyosung employees participated voluntarily, are expected to provide practical support to child patients in need of blood transfusions. As such, Hyosung is leading the way in actively promoting a culture of life-sharing through regular employee blood donation campaigns.

Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon said, “I hope that Hyosung’s sincere and heartfelt delivery of blood donation certificates and funds will provide some much needed support to children battling cancer.” He further emphasized that “Hyosung will look after marginalized neighbors and continue engaging in a variety of social contribution activities as a company that fulfills its social responsibilities.”

Meanwhile, Hyosung is carrying out a variety of social contribution activities under the slogan, ‘We Will Stand With You Through Sharing,’ such as supporting vulnerable groups, sponsoring culture and the arts, and assisting patriots and veterans.
