Hyosung Ventures Invests in 3 Companies Specializing in Bio, Beauty, and Spatial Computing
Hyosung’s corporate venture capital (CVC) arm Hyosung Ventures is strengthening its deep-tech portfolio by expanding investments in startups specializing in the bio, beauty, and spatial computing sectors.
Hyosung Ventures announced on May 12 that it invested in beauty solutions company "AAC Holdings" and AI-based novel drug platform company "IMNEWRUN." The company also invested in industrial spatial computing company DEEP.FINE in April.
IMNEWRUN is a company that develops novel drug delivery platforms using AI technology. Using IMNEWRUN’s drug delivery platform can enhance the drug penetration of BBB (Blood Brain Barrier), making it effective for treating brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. The company has proven its technological prowess by signing a technology transfer agreement with a global pharmaceutical company in February of this year.
AAC Holdings offers medical and beauty solutions through data analysis. The company analyzes customer data to provide personalized solutions based on each customer’s skin condition as well as living habits. Instead of focusing on simple procedures, it develops comprehensive care plans tailored to each customer.
DEEP.FINE is a spatial computing company that transforms industrial sites into 3D digital data. Indoor spaces can be transformed into precise 3D maps using standard mobile devices, and work efficiency can be enhanced through integration with drones and smart glasses. The company was recognized for its global technological capabilities after winning the CES 2025 Innovation Award. As its technology can be easily integrated with existing corporate systems, it is expected to be used in industrial areas such as the manufacturing sites of the Hyosung Group.
“The recent investment is part of our efforts to expand investments in promising future industries such as bio, beauty, and spatial computing. We will contribute to the vitalization of Korea’s deep-tech industrial ecosystem in line with the government’s investment direction focused on technology,” an official from Hyosung Ventures said.
