Hyosung, gets the Chinese market at the largest composite materials exhibition of China
Hyosung is participating in the largest composite materials exhibition of China, ‘2016 Shanghai CCE’ held in Shanghai, China from August 31st (local time) to September 2nd and doing marketing activities for the Chinese customers.
Shanghai CCE is an annual composite materials exhibition held in China and participated by world famous carbon fiber makers, composite materials makers and composite material facility companies. In 2015, about 425 companies participated and showed the newest trend and technologies of the carbon fiber applied commercial products.
Participating for the 3rd time following the last year, Hyosung is meeting Chinese customers to introduce the products made by applying the independently developed carbon fiber brand ‘TANSOME®’. Particularly, at this exhibition, Hyosung is concentrating its promotion activity on auto parts such as CNG (compressed natural gas) vessel and vehicle (motor cycle) drive belt. As more than 70% of the companies participating in this exhibition are Chinese companies, Hyosung is seeking not only to develop new Chinese customers but also find out the industrial trend for technology development and usage expansion in the carbon-fiber applied products and composite materials.

At this exhibition, Hyosung is operating a joint booth with the small but strong companies in carbon, Shinyoung PET Co. and Pitch Cable Co., and actively supporting development of their sales route. Shinyoung PET Co. is exhibiting the auto parts and construction materials made by applying carbon fiber to recycled PET to raise compressive strength and concentrating on marketing for various customers. Also, Pitch Cable Co. which manufactures the carbon heating benches and cushions is emphasizing the advantage of high energy efficiency and no corrosion, to attract customers.
On the other hand, in order to create the outcome of the Creative Economy, Hyosung is cooperating with Jollabukdo for formation of the ‘Carbon Cluster’, around Jollabukdo, in which companies, institutions and regional administrative organizations can create a synergy effect together. Hyosung is the only company operating a startup incubator center out of the companies in charge of the Creative Economy Innovation Center and is concentrating on nurturing 10 small but strong companies in carbon, in priority, around the Carbon-Specialized Startup Incubator Center which will play the central role for carbon cluster expansion. Hyosung is supporting the companies of the incubator center through teaching management knowhow of large enterprises, commercialization of good ideas or development of sales route making use of Hyosung's global network.
