Hyosung introduced new products creora® highclo™ 20de, 30de and 55de of the global No.1 spandex brand creora® at the world’s largest swimsuit, lingerie and textile material exhibition held at Paris, France from July 4th to 6th.
creora® highclo™ is functional spandex yarn which minimizes the swimsuit’s flexibility deterioration caused by swimming pool’s disinfectant by its excellent chlorine-resistance. As the swimsuit made of this yarn is 5~10 times as durable as swimsuits using ordinary spandex, such global swimsuit brands as Speedo and Victoria’s Secret are using this yarn.
The newly introduced highclo™ 55de is about 15% more flexible than the previous products made of 40de, and swimsuits containing highclo™ 55de are highly wearable and have the excellent reshaping function. In particular, in this exhibition, Hyosung introduced swimsuits using highclo™ 55de produced jointly in collaboration with the representative domestic swimsuit brand ‘Renoma’.
A Renoma brand’s Designer Team Leader Park Bang-soo said, “Customers prefer fashionable, good-shaping and durable swimsuits, and Hyosung’s creora® yarn enables us to design products satisfying all of these conditions.”
Currently, Renoma is selling the swimsuits that used creora®, the Rashguard, and swim leggings made of the quickly sweat- absorbing and drying material Aqua-X, receiving good responses from consumers.
In the meantime, Hyosung is going to establish firmly the value and awareness of the global No.1 brand in the world swimsuit market through continuous development of yarn and swimsuits with brands and client companies, using the newly developed creora® highclo™ 20de, 30de and 55de.
