Hyosung, participates in the largest textile exhibition in Indonesia, Indo Intertex

Hyosung participates in the largest textile and textile-machine exhibition in Indonesia ‘Indo Intertex’ to be held at the Jakarta International Exhibition Hall from 27th to 30th. This will be Hyosung's 4th participation in a row in this exhibition since 2013.
Mr. Cho Hyun-joon Head of Textile PG (president) said, “As 87% of the Indonesian population is Muslim, the outcome in Indonesia will be connected to the success in the 1.3 billion population Muslim market,” and “we will promote outstanding quality of creora® in the Indonesian market to solidify our status as the global No.1 brand.”
As the Indonesian textile market is continuously growing with increasing demand for the spandex yarn from the Muslim wear, it can play the role of a test market for the whole Muslim market. Hyosung's strategy is to invade the Indonesian market regarding it as priming water for the Muslim wear market.
As a part of the strategy, Hyosung has held the ‘4th Muslim Wear Design Contest’ since the end of last year as an opportunity for the regional college students of the Textile Fashion Design Department to be able to exhibit their skills, and the prize awarding ceremony will be held during the exhibition period. Prize winning works will be exhibited in the Hyosung booth, and the Grand Prize winning work will be released to the market as a product from an Indonesian Muslim fashion wear brand Shasmira.
On the other hand, Hyosung visits client companies in Indonesia and holds the ‘creora® Workshop’ for two days of 25~26th right before the exhibition, and will participate in the Interfiliere Lyon exhibition in July and the Intertextile Shanghai exhibition in October to lead the market as the leader of the spandex market.
