On October 9, the Hyosung Information Systems PU held the ‘HDS-HIS Information Forum 2012,’ in collaboration with Hitachi Data Systems, at InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
For the event, storage and data center experts of both companies as well as professionals from various fields attended as guest speakers. The forum drew high attention from relevant business fields as about 500 related officials from clients and partner companies participated in the event and shared the latest technical information. Head Yang Jeong-gyu of Hyosung Information Systems PU explained the meaning of the event in his opening speech, stating, “There is a growing need to come up with effective data management methods that can meet exponentially increasing big data trends and intensified IT compliance requirements. The Hyosung Information Systems and Hitachi Data Systems will offer various solutions related to effective data center operations including big data treatment, corporate information protection and management innovation.
