Vice Chairman Lee Sang-woon Receives Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit

Vice chairman Lee sang-woon received the “Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit” at a ceremony to commemorate the 25^th Textile Day on November 11, for his contribution to the Korean textile industry. Vice Chairman Lee started his career as a sales person and served as a trade manager at the Sydney and Milano branches. While he served as CEO, he achieved outstanding business accomplishments including doubling sales revenues and tripling exports, and was selected as one of the top 100 Korean CEOs by Maekyung Economy for six consecutive years. At the event, team manager Choi Il-yeong from the Nylon-Polyester Fiber Performance Unit in Gumi and employee Shin Cha-ki from the Spandex Performance Unit in Gumi were awarded commendations from the Minister of Knowledge Economy, and department head Cho Sang-won from the Hyosung Research and Development Institute won a citation from the chairman of Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI).
