Celebrating the Selection of New Camry as the Car of the Year! Event of Comparative Test Drive with Competing Cars

Toyota intends to fight a match with domestic cars and Germany’s diesel cars, with the Car of the Year 2013 ‘Camry’ and the Hybrid leader ‘Prius’ in the lead. The target models are Hyundai Motor Company’s Grandeur and Volkswagen Golf. In celebration of the selection of New Camry as the Car of the Year 2013 by Korea Automobile Journalist Association, Toyota is holding the following event for 5 weeks on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from February 22 to March 24: ‘See & Enjoy TOYOTA’, a comparative test drive with competing domestic cars and Germany’s diesel cars, and a test drive of all Toyota lineups sold in Korea. Customers who visit the Toyota showrooms during the event period can enjoy the test drive of all 8 Toyota lines sold in Korea, including Camry, Prius, small sports car Toyota 86, luxurious minivan Sienna, crossover Venza, and Camry Hybrid. Seocho Showroom prepared a full-scale test drive event to compare Camry, Camry Hybrid and Prius with Hyundai Grandeur and Volkswagen Golf. It is intended to show the domestic customers in earnest the popular attraction of the Toyota brand as ‘a comfortable and pleasant car for me and my family’. Toyota also resolved to fight a match this year with Germany’s diesel cars with Toyota Hybrid’s environment-friendly attribute, economic feasibility, and performance that is overwhelming compared to other cars.
