Hyosung quality management system found to meet KFQ specifications
Hyosung S-Project TFT had worked on securing ISO/TS 16949 certification since November 2009. The team received audits from the Korean Foundation for Quality (KFQ) in accordance with KFQ certification system specifications and successfully passed the quality management system requirements to earn the certificate. The certificate-awarding ceremony took place at the Mapo corporate headquarters on November 9th. ISO/TS 16949 certification covers design, development, production and sales of aramid fibers.
Since the certification is associated with the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), Hyosung is now qualified to supply aramid products to the automotive and its related industries such as auto/motor drive belt, hose and tire cord.
