43 people promoted including Kim Gyu-young, Chung Yun-taek and Cho Hyun-taek
Hyosung announced the selection of executives for 2011 on January 26, including 43 promotions. Some of the more notable appointments include: China Branch General Manager Kim Gyu-young, CFO Chung Yun-taek and CAO Cho Hyun-taek were all promoted to the president positions; President Kwon Ki-su of the Tire & Industrial Reinforcements PU, Executive VP Seo Seung-won of the Textile PG Production R&D Center and Executive VP Lee Min-je of the Changwon Plant Power Systems PU were all promoted to senior executive vice president positions.
This set of promotions is particularly significant as Sr. VP Lee Geum-jeong of the Wind Turbine Systems Marketing Team, who is GM of the Strategy Planning Team, has become the first woman executive to hold such a position at Hyosung.
