Hyosung Advanced Materials recently received a prize from the President of Seoul Metropolitan Council at the Seoul Social Contribution Contest 2023, which is co-hosted by the Seoul Social Welfare Council and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The co-hosts announced that they had awarded the prize to Hyosung Advanced Materials in recognition of its continuous social contribution activities over the past eleven years, most notably for people suffering from severe brain injury, and its provision of support for the Yeongrak Ania Center, which is a recuperative care center for severely disabled children.

The company has provided the funds required to purchase wheelchairs and to support people suffering from severe brain injury and improve their environment. Its employees have periodically engaged in voluntary activities, such as providing assistance at athletic meets held on the Day of Persons with Disabilities, and dining together with disabled children and adults.

The company, together with the Yeongrak Ania Center, has also been recognized as an exemplary business in the field of social contribution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare for five consecutive years since 2019.
