Hyosung Heavy Industries is introducing eco-friendly future electric power systems such as BESS (battery energy storage system), STATCOM (static synchronous compensator), ARMOUR (asset remote management system for operational utility's reliability), etc. at the 2023 Seoul International Electric Fair held from October 18 co-hosted by KEPCO and Korea Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (KOEMA). 

Expected to be the largest domestic event of its kind held concerning power generation materials/devices, it is held at COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul for three days from October 18 to October 20. 

At the exhibition, Hyosung Heavy Industries is introducing new renewable power generation—which is becoming the center of attention ahead of the “low-carbon, green life era”—together with ESS (Energy Storage System), photovoltaic inverter, STATCOM, HVDC (high-voltage direct current transmission system), ARMOUR, etc. as well as ultra-high voltage electric power devices/equipment as the Company’s main products.

It is particularly noteworthy that the event will be the first time the Company introduces its futuristic eco-friendly cutting-edge electric power solutions and ESG activities using 3D media façade display.

 “It will be an opportunity to have visitors see our futuristic technological prowess firsthand through the media façade displaying the value of eco-friendliness,” a Hyosung Heavy Industries officer said.

The Company will also have a space for the introduction of the Hyosung Group’s eco-friendly business with focus on RE:GEN (Reply to Every Generation’s Future). “RE:GEN” is the group’s ESG brand embodying the commitment to eco-friendly technological innovation with a grand goal of making the earth a place for all generations of people.
