Hyosung Chemical participated in ″China Plastic 2023″, an industrial expo specializing in plastic/rubber goods held in Shenzhen, China for four days from April 17. The event is the largest one of its kind held in Asia and one of the world′s top 3. 

At the expo, Hyosung Chemical introduced its ″R200P,″ a polypropylene (PP) boasting of its No.1 status in terms of global market share. As a raw material used in the production of cold/hot water pipes, ″R200P″ features economic efficiency, eco-friendliness, chemical stability, and ease of use. Another item that stood out at the expo is ″R202P,″ a new product that maintains the same pressure-resisting quality and which can reduce the thickness of pipes. 

Hyosung Chemical is also introducing a variety of good-quality PP goods used in transparent containers that help customers reduce the amount of energy used and in films for secondary batteries.

Another item that Hyosung Chemical is introducing at the expo is POKETONE whose commercialization was successfully achieved by the company for the first time in the world. It is an eco-friendly engineering plastic, emitting a low amount of carbon dioxide, and is resistant to chemicals/abrasion and is not harmful to the body. Visitors to the expo can meet the POKETONE used in a variety of industrial sectors (including EV parts) and people′s daily lives. 

Hyosung Chemical strives to develop parts that come into contact with food which consumers can use worry-free, including acquiring the relevant certifications in China, in step with the market trend of putting importance in eco-friendliness.
