Hyosung TNC leads eco-friendly materials market at Korea's largest textile exhibition
Hyosung TNC will participate in the 2021 Preview in Seoul(PIS) from September 1 to 3 at COEX in Seoul, where it will showcase its reputation as a leading company in eco-friendly textile materials.
□ To showcase many created by collaboration with eco-friendly fiber Regen with fashion brands
Hyosung TNC will create an exhibition space combining recycled polyester ″Regen (regen®)" and fashion brand products with a view to strengthening contacts with the members of MZ generation who cherish consumption of goods with eco-friendly value and prioritize novel experiences.
In collaboration with North Face, a brand loved by consumers of all ages, the exhibition will feature regen®jeju fleece jacket made of recycled waste PET bottles collected from Jeju. Hyosung TNC also collaborated with "National Geographic," "Covernat," and "Pleats Mama," which are drawing attention from MZ generation, on T-shirts and bags made of regen®Seoul..
There will be banners of "Cueclyp" made of Regen on the outer walls of the exhibition booth. Cueclyp is an upcycling startup that uses eco-friendly fabrics like discarded banners to make accessories and miscellaneous goods.
Hyosung TNC employees will welcome visitors wearing ″Hanbok for Earth″ uniforms, a product made in collaboration with the modern hanbok brand "Leesle." Each of the uniform uses Regen fibers taken from about 90 PET bottles, which adds to both its eco-friendly values and Korean beauty.
□ Supports overseas promotion of small -and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups via video meetings with overseas brands
This year′s PIS will have both online and offline exhibitions. Hyosung TNC allowed customers to observe the fabrics and clothes by providing an online 3D exhibition.
It will also arrange video meetings with foreign brands for nine partner companies which have been suffering difficulties due to the reduction of overseas exhibitions. The events are expected to help Hyosung TNC promote the excellence of its sustainable functional fibers to the world and assist the overseas advancement and promotion of capable small- and medium-sized companies and startups.

During the PIS, Korea′s largest textile and fashion exhibition which marks its 22nd anniversary this year, standing banners made of Regen by Cueclyp will be placed in many places of the exhibition hall to guide visitors. More eco-friendly materials will be used in the exhibition hall as it is an exhibition that carries the theme of sustainability and the Korea Federation of Textile Industries, the host of the exhibition, made such a request.
