From May 16th through 19th, Hyosung participated in CHINAPLAS® 2017, held in Guangzhou, China.
CHINAPLAS, Asia’s No.1 plastics and rubber show, also has significant influence on the global stage. During this year’s event, Hyosung displayed its polypropylene brand, ‘Topilene®’ and its polyketone brand, ‘POKETONETM’, both manufactured by Chemicals PG, to the global market.
The entire booth was themed to represent Hyosung’s corporate reputation and materialize the shape of the products. Hysoung held ‘Technical Seminars’ to assist proper understanding of its products, and moved one step closer to customers.
In its first attendance, the Polypropylene PU presented a variety of application products including pipes, films, transparent containers and small electric appliances. Hyosung is planning to conduct a more aggressive promotion of Topilene®, affecting the everyday life based on Hyosung’s accumulative original technologies including the propane dehydrogenation process.
‘Topline® R200P’, having the largest market share in polypropylenes for pipes, was promoted during the event. Spectators showed great interest in Topline® R200P’s features of environmentally friendliness and chemical stability. To respond to such hype, Hyosung increased the numbers of employees posted at the booth to provide more interaction with customers, and topped-up its effort by holding a technical seminar on the technology behind Topline® on the 16th.
Meanwhile, Hyosung’s polyketone brand, ‘POKETONETM’ was exhibited in the event for the second straight year. POKETONETM, an new environmentally friendly engineering plastic, is produced from carbon monoxide, the largest air pollutant. It offers features of strong impact resistance, excellent chemical resistance, and exceptional wear resistance. The technical seminar on POKETONETM was held on the 17th.
CHINAPLAS, in its 31st installment since 1979, is an international chemical product convention, hosting 3,000 exhibiting entities, and over 140,000 visiting spectators.
