Hyosung, received huge positive response in the largest outdoor exhibition of USA to its high functionality yarn products
Hyosung participated in the ‘Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2016 (hereinafter referred to as OR Show)’ held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA for 4 days from 3rd to 6th to expand the global outdoor and sports yarn market.
At this exhibition, Hyosung massively introduced high functionality nylon and polyester (PET) yarn brands such as the deodorizing material ‘freshgear’, the cool sense material ‘aqua-X’ and ‘askin’, healing material ‘MIPAN® fit’ and ‘aerogear’, and the sensuous material ‘cotna’.
Among these products, freshgear is a new product that unprecedentedly removes ammonia (pungent smell) and acetic acid (sour smell) which cause smell of sweat through physical and chemical methods. To show this function, a wearing experiment of T-shirts made of freshgear was performed for client companies, and real removing of smell of sweat was demonstrated and many persons interested gave positive responses.
The US OR Show is one of the 3 outdoor exhibitions in the world together with the ISPO in Munchen, Germany and the Friesrichshafen Outdoor Show in Germany, and Hyosung has participated for 8 years in a row to use it as a chance to expand the global outdoor and sports wear yarn market.
On the other hand, Hyosung Group made a joint booth with such client companies as Eunsoeng Tex Co., Donghwa Textile Co. and Silver Tex Co. and supported their sales activities as a part of its consistent win-win growth activity.
