Hyosung Changwon Plant announced on 29th that the plant opened a summer camp for about 100 employee’s children at the Gyeongju Blue One Resort for 2 nights and 3 days from July 27th.
This camp was prepared to help employees’ children enjoy cheerful summer vacation. Under the tile of ‘Safety and Fun’, this camp included a sense of safety strengthening program to teach correct first aid for cultivating the ability of taking wise actions in case of emergencies, together with visiting such historic sites of Gyeongju as Tomb of the Heavenly Horse, Cheomseongdae and Royal Tomb of Taejong Mooyeol.
Also, a cheerful fun time in a water park to smash hot weather was prepared to give a fruitful and pleasant time to children.
Hyosung Changwon Plant has given the summer camp for employees’ children from 4th grades to middle school seniors since 2009, and draws huge responses from the employees’ children and families because new and diverse programs are prepared each year.
A Changwon Plant insider said, “We will obviously continue the family program consistently as well as try to expand diversity of the program for employees and employee families together to continue making happy Hyosung Changwon Plant.”
In the meantime, following President Cho Hyun-joon’s (Head of the Strategic Headquarters) management philosophy that employees can enthusiastically be involved in works only with happy family, Hyosung is trying hard to make such a workplace as both employees and families can be happy and raise their pride in the Company, by operating ‘Family Voluntary Service’ which family members participate in, ‘Celebrity Lecture for Invited Employee Families’ and ‘Sports Event Spectating with Family’ including baseball and basketball as well as the ‘Family Day’ when employees go home exactly at 5: 30 pm every Wednesday.
