Facing Jungbok on 23rd, Hyosung had the ‘Cool Cool Snack Time’ which delivered cool snacks to employees of each regional work place as well as the head office.
Since the early July, Hyosung has provided such cool snacks as ice cream, watermelon and mixed grains powder with such nutritious special foods as ginseng chicken soup or duck bulgogi for employees working hard in spite of hot working conditions at each regional plant of Gumi, Ulsan, Eonyang, Yongyeon, Changwon and Jeonju.
Hyosung paid vacation bonus for cool summer of employees and strongly recommends them to use 5 day summer vacation. Regional workplaces at Gumi, Ulsan, Yongyeon and Jeonju secured lodging facilities at valleys near plants and operate summer resorts for employees and their families to enjoy free vacation. Changwon Plant will invite about 100 employee’s children to the summer camp at Gyeongju and provide an opportunity of cheerful work-study.
A Hyosung insider said, “We want employees who may easily be tired from hot weather and work load to spend the summer time protecting their health,” and, “we are encouraging employees to go domestic vacations for recovery of low domestic economy caused by global economy recession and the MERS effect.”
In the meantime, from the early May, Hyosung has been implementing the summer working-dress code ‘Cool Biz Look’ which allows cool and convenient dresses of employees for improving work efficiency, and this will continue until September.
