Hyosung, ‘Fly Green Dream’ volunteer activity in the Family Month

    Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps run by voluntary involvement of Hyosung’s executives and staffs visited the Shinmok Social Welfare Complex located in Shinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu on 13th to hold the Fly Green Dream’ event for about 100 children from low income family or disabled children.

    This day, Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps prepared various games for children such as limbo, quiz, skipping rope and balloon popping, and operated such experiencing booths as natural soap making or eco bag making, and also ice cream booth and cotton candy booth for children to enjoy.

    This special volunteer activity was prepared in celebration of 2nd anniversary of Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps and the Family Month. Since the establishment ceremony in May of 2013, Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps has practiced direct sharing activities in the 4 social welfare facilities, Seongmin Disabled Children’s Home, Shinmok Social Welfare Complex, Shinmok Disabled Children’s Home and Anayul Disabled Children’s Home at least once a month.

    Head of Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps, Cho Hyun-sang (Vice President) said, “The Sharing Volunteer Corps which was founded by voluntary participation of executives and staffs and is now actively practicing Hyosung’s sharing activity representing Company, has regularly done meaningful activities in the past 2 years,” and “We will keep doing our best in the future to fulfill social responsibility of company.”

    Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Corps has done such diverse sharing activities as assistance in drawing and physical activity, mud flat experiencing, Christmas and year-end parties in the past 2 years, and the accumulated number of beneficiary reaches about 2 thousand.

    On the other hand, Hyosung is holding the event that receives recommendations of good places for family travel through the Hyosung Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/myfriendhyosung) and presents chicken to those selected through lottery from 8th to 17th.
