Chairman CHO Hyunjoon, tune in to the voice of the customer on site

    Hyosung’s Chairman CHO Hyunjoon stepped forward to listen closer to global customers.

    Chairman CHO recently visited the world class fabric event ‘Intertextile Shanghai 2017‘ and listened to the voice of global customers.

    Hyosung jointly displayed the largest exhibition booth providing the opportunity to participate in global events to 18 partners, and supported their customer consult and marketing activities. During the exhibition Hyosung held a reception to celebrate creora®’s 25th anniversary, to emphasize the joint efforts and shared growth with customers. Hyosung sat down with the leaders of China’s 430 billion dollar textile market (as of 2016, by revenue) and sought joint marketing opportunities of functional clothing textile.

    Chairman CHO said, “The practical on site obstacles, and the voice of the customers are the foundation of Hyosung‘s technological development and quality innovation. People say, ‘If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far go together,‘ Hyosung shall grow along with customers in China and all around the world.“

    Based on its business philosophy of ’Technological competitiveness is the DNA of success’, Hyosung, with its own technology, established a spandex mass production system in 1998. With prolonged technological investment, listening to the voice of customers, partners and site, and reflecting every opinion possible, Hyosung has cemented its pole position in the global spandex market since 2010. Hyosung has established a global production and sales network which consists of over 100 sites in more than 30 countries, and has developed high quality differentiated products reflecting the local trend and taste among customers through regional efforts including creora workshops, to earn a positive reputation from customers.

    Chairman CHO decisively attacked the China market since the late 90’s. Hyosung extended its efforts and investments to establish a production foundation in China. The expansion of the Quzhou plant is the most recent iteration of theses efforts. In return, Chen Xian, the party secretary of Quzhou visited corporate headquarters to discuss the current construction status and future cooperation opportunities. Moreover the friendship of Hyosung and Quzhou was elevated to a higher stage when Quzhou honored Hyosung by naming a road in downtown Quzhou as “Hyosung Boulevard.“

    Since taking office, Chairman CHO has stressed that “Listening to the voice of customers is the alpha and omega of our business activities.“ Chairman CHO‘s global mission to meet and listen to customers will be extended to America, Europe and Sout-east Asia.
