Hyosung ITX, Civil-Military Sisterhood Agreement to help vulnerable group of the local community

    An IT service corporation Hyosung ITX announced that the Company made the ‘Sisterhood Agreement for Mutual Development and Friendship Enhancing between Hyosung ITX and Air Force’ on June 26th at the Air Force 10th Fighter Wing Command located in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do with Hyosung ITX Representative Nam Kyeong-hwan and the Air Force 10th Fighter Wing Commander Lee Seong-yong and 30 others attended.

    This day, Hyosung ITX delivered donation money and necessary goods to encourage soldiers, and promised to keep supporting through continuous exchanges to strengthen the civilian-military bond and raise morale of soldiers. For this purpose, Hyosung ITX is examining the plan of giving priority to model soldiers recommended by the commander of the associated troop in the recruit process of new employees to help soldiers get a job, their biggest concern.

    A company official said, “This agreement intended to provide various social and cultural experiences to the vulnerable social group, particularly the disabled, supported by Hyosung ITX over the dimension of helping military soldiers,” and “We plan to support volunteer activities together with soldiers to help local community so that the disabled with mobility impairment can actively participate in various events held by Air Force such as air shows or flight experiences.”

    In the meantime, Hyosung ITX established a workplace for the disabled, ‘Happy Dudrimi’, for expansion of hiring the disabled, and has been eagerly doing social contribution activities such as giving cultural experience for the disabled children and support to elderly welfare facilities by organizing the ‘Hyosung ITX Sharing Volunteer Corps’ participated by all executives and staffs.
