Power & Industrial System R&D Center Attended IEEE VPPC 2012

Members of the Power & Industrial System R&D Center attended the 8^th IEEE VPPC 2012, which was held at Olympic Parktel in Seoul between October 9^th and 12^th. The VPPC (Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference) is an annual conference organized by the IEEE of the US, and consists of information exchange on automobile driveshafts, electronic devices, energy storage systems and product exhibitions. The Power & Industrial System R&D Center exhibited EV motors and charging systems in the conference, and held a special session with the theme ‘Technology Trends of Electric Powertrains for Xev.’ The special session, which provided an introduction to Hyosung and its technical prowess, coupled with presentations by Prof. Hong Seong-pyo (Hanyang Univ.), Dr. Dusan Graovac (Infineon), and Prof. James L. Kirtley (MIT), attracted keen interest from the participants.
