The Industrial Materials PG held the 2012 First Half Performance Sharing Event in the underground auditorium at Mapo Headquarters, Seoul, on August 1. With employees at the headquarters, executives and plant directors of local business divisions and executives and team leaders of Hyosung R&D Center and Steel Cord R&D Center attended the event, where the PG Planning Management Team made a presentation on “Management Status in the First Half and Perspectives in the Second Half of Hyosung Group and Industrial Materials PG,” in an attempt to indentify the current business operations of the PG and enhance a sense of crisis arising from the sluggish global economy. In response, PU heads, executives and team leaders of relevant departments discussed root causes of main issues, and shared successful case studies through presentations on emergency business operation cases by each PU. Also, they shared activities to improve organizational culture prepared by the PG Planning Management Team and pledged to make concerted efforts to create a pleasant work environment.
President Cho Hyeon-sang of the Industrial Materials PG highlighted, “Every individual of the PG should devote himself or herself to the company’s development, in order to achieve business goals of the second half of 2012. Sub-leaders should actively determine what to do in the organization and pursue perfection in outcomes. To that end, executives and team leaders should join hands with the organization members to create a pleasant working environment.” At the performance sharing meeting, individuals of the PG resolved to have ownership and fulfill their responsibilities and roles to achieve the business goals of the second half of this year.
