Power & Industrial Systems R&D Center Held Hyosung Young Scientist’s Day

    The Power & Industrial Systems R&D Center held Hyosung Young Scientists Day (HYSD), with academic-industrial scholarship students on September 11th. This event took place for academic-industrial scholarship students who were selected by the company with an aim to secure excellent talent. This program is designed to strengthen ties among customized HRD programs and was attended by a total of 45 people including scholarship students, R&D Center Executives, Team Leaders and mentors.

    This event was conducted in order of welcoming speech, introduction of the Power & Industrial Systems R&D Center, academic-industrial scholarship program and personnel system, introduction of scholarship students, field trip to R&D Center, team session and dinner. Park Seung-ryong, executive director and head of the Power & Industrial Systems R&D Center, explained about the objectives of the event and future of researchers, and helped the scholarship students understand Hyosung’s vision and career path after employment through introduction of the R&D Center and personnel system. In addition, students had opportunities to consider potential research areas through a field trip to the R&D Center and Team Session.

    Next, Section Head Lee Gyu-ho who entered Hyosung as an academic-industrial scholarship student talked about preparation before and after employment and attitude. Scholarship students actively engaged in self-introduction and discussion on their interested research areas and Hyosung’s R&D fields.


    This event was provided to promote Hyosung to scholarship students and strengthen ties with them. The Power & Industrial Systems R&D Center plans to continue implementing tailor-made HRD programs to nurture gifted human resources as the corporate driving forces.
