Vietnam Smile Expedition Receives Excellence Award in the Korean PR Awards in International PR

Our company’s ‘Vietnam Smile Expedition Medical Voluntary Service’ received the excellence award in the Korean PR Award in international PR at ‘2012 PR Day’ held by the Korea PR Association. The awards ceremony was held on November 15 at the Plaza Hotel, and Director Hong Sang-hyeon, an executive in charge of PR, attended to receive the award.

‘Vietnam Smile Expedition’ is Hyosung’s overseas medical volunteer group organized to promote cultural exchange overseas. It is a global social contribution program that provided medical services for over 1,000 residents in Bintan village of Ho Chi Minh with Hyosung Vietnam division for a week from August 13 to 19 in 2012. “I rated this highly on the fact that Hyosung enhanced its cosmopolitan reputation with a program that showed strong global civic consciousness ,” said Chairman Cho Hae-Hyung of the judging committee during the commentary. Over 150 people including PR related societies and those involved in the PR business honored the awards ceremony with their presence.
