Hyosung Makes Agreement to Support Management Consulting Costs for Social Enterprises

On November 12 in Mapo headquarters, our company made an agreement to support management consulting costs for nine social enterprises. It is to provide assistance for sustainable growth rather than one-off support such as providing a start-up fund. . The nine selected social enterprises are as follows: God of Study (encouraging self-directed learning), Delight Hearing Aid (selling inexpensive hearing aids for low-income groups), Cizion (facilitating online communication and implementing technology to combat abusive comments), EcoFemme (creating jobs for migrant women), Obang Playground (creating jobs for women with career discontinuity), Communication Woody (integrating marketing with public services), Touch4Good (turning recycled materials into fashion items), Tree Planet (using a tree planting game to increase actual tree planting), and Polang Polang (working to prevent animal abuse and abandonment).

Our company provides tailored consultations regarding finance once a month for these enterprises, and provides advice on many business issues. We are also planning to help them increase their growth by holding meetings to inspect their intermediate results , and discussions providing feedback on their business consultations . In addition, based on the process and results of providing these consultations on business finance , we are planning to produce and distribute a ‘Social Enterprise Business Solution Manual’ for start-up social enterprises to use as a ‘business reference book’. We are making further efforts to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by presenting plans to increase our social contributions on November 3, in commemoration of the 46^th anniversary of the company’s foundation.
