Gumi Plant Fire Safety Team Provides Voluntary Services for Nursery

On October 31, the Gumi Plant fire protection team held a fire safety education program for more than 30 students and teachers from Sarangteo Nursery in the parking lot of Mt. Geumosan. Sarangteo Nursery is a social welfare foundation which cares for and educates physically challenged children in Gumi. The students had had no opportunity to experience or learn about fire safety with other children due to their conditions. The Hyosung fire safety team has been visiting the nursery for 7 years, spending time with the students testing out fire extinguishers, demonstrating how to extinguish fires, and taking commemorative photographs. The team also delivered school supplies they had prepared. The Hyosung fire safety team will work hard to represent Gumi with volunteer activities that go beyond fire fighting.
