In an attempt to prevent blackouts that can be caused by deterioration of power supply facilities and provide stable power, the Ulsan plant conducted a planned power cut for 48 hours starting from 7 p.m. on April 25.
To prepare for all possible situations for planned power failure and risks, the Ulsan plant has held three workshops to share operation plans and processes with its employees. The planned power cut was conducted in collaboration with Korea Electric Power Corporation to inspect 154 kV circuit breakers, replacement of distributing boards and replacement of circuit breaker control panels. The operation was successfully completed as planned without any incidents.
