School Violence Preventive Education for Elementary School Students with Good Neighbors

Our company announced to carry out school violence preventive education for one year to 5,000 students of 50 elementary schools in Gyeongsangnam-do, with which professional lecturers of NGO ‘Good Neighbors’ concluded an education donation agreement. The education program, ‘Fly Together, Be(飛) Together’, was made up of various cases so that elementary school students can easily empathize. Our company fostered professional lecturers last year through Good Neighbors to participate in the preventive education, and the program has been carried out in earnest since the spring vacation this year. The school violence preventive education is part of CSE (Creating Social Eco-System) that is presented as a new trend of corporate social contribution by our company. CSE is social contribution that has evolved from CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), which can change the social ecosystem with continuous effects beyond simple monetary donations. Moreover, we have supported business consulting expenses to 9 social enterprises through ‘Work Together Foundation’. Also, we formed ‘Hyosung Smile Expedition’, an overseas medical services volunteer group with KFHI (Korea Food for the Hungry International); and ‘Hyosung Blue Challenger’, a appropriate technology volunteer group of university students.
