2013 47th New Employee Introduction Training

    207 of 47th new employees of 2013 received introduction training from January 2 to 16, starting with a commencement ceremony. This training session was put on to enable new employees to grasp and internalize Hyosung’s thoughts, philosophy, values and current status and so that the new recruits could take pride in being Hyosung employees. Participants were able to learn quickly as the training induced practice along with acquisition of the Hyosung Way concept, and provided time to solidify the fellowship by making UCC and short plays about the Hyosung Way.

    On January 6, there was a special lecture by Vice Chairman Lee Sang-woon in Osan Korean Standards Association Training Center. In the course of the lecture which ran for an hour and a half, Vice Chairman Lee Sang-woon delivered ‘requests for new employees to follow in company life in the future’. The new employees were given time for a Q&A session in which they could openly present questions or new proposals, which helped maintain a lively atmosphere the whole time. On January 7, the new employees participated in various social contribution activities, such as cleaning buildings from 10 AM and providing a food service for 170 or so elders in Small Anna’s Home and Oroji Welfare Institution, two nursing homes for the elders located in Gyeonggi-do. This was the first year that saw new employee training include the possibility of volunteer work, an initiative that was planned to enable new employees to share love with neighbors and step closer to the Hyosung Way. The new employees participated in the birthday party of the elders, showing a great performance by singing and dancing to help build up the mirth and good cheer.
