Tool team leader Kim UI-gon of the Industrial Machinery PU Production Technology Team was selected as the recipient of the ‘2012 Employee of the Year’ from Changwon City. Kim has contributed to improvement of motor product quality and productivity through ceaseless technology development and process enhancement during his 26 years of service.
The team leader is a master mechanic who possesses unrivalled technology in the fields of motor core molds and low cost automation machinery manufacturing. He holds certificates of Industrial Engineer Machine Fitting and Job training teacher as well as having obtained a bachelor’s degree at Korea Polytechnic VII Colleges. Moreover, he has been taking the initiative in handing down technology by publishing mold assembly instructions and a manual.
Also, Kim has been continuously practicing sharing with neighbors in need through various volunteer activities including as a citizen autonomy committee member, a central autonomous vigilance committee member in Changwon and volunteer activities at child welfare facilities.
Changwon City announced that the city selected Kim as the recipient of ‘2012 Changwon Employee of the Year’ in praise of his consistent self-development efforts and local social contribution activities.
