Hyosung Information System Targets Domestic Big Data Market thru Business Collaboration with NFLabs
On June 18, Hyosung Information Systems signed an agreement with big data solution provider NFLabs (CEO Na Se-jun, www.nflabs.com) to form strategic business collaboration for joint development and sales of big data appliance products. Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop big data appliance, a platform to store, collect and analyze data as their strategic product, and promote joint marketing and sales to target the relevant market through close collaboration. Given that the importance of data has been increasingly highlighted recently, the two companies reached a consensus that they should release the platform for data storage, collection and analysis as a product that customers can easily apply and secure it as a strategic product group to gain the upper hand in the big data market. Currently, customers have to resort to overseas companies since no big data appliance has been released in the domestic market. Thus, it is meaningful for the company to launch the big data appliance product in the domestic market through the strategic partnership with NFLabs.
The company expects to be able to supply products reflecting customers’ demand as much as possible by releasing the big data appliance that combined NFLabs’ big data platform ‘PelotonTM’ with Hyosung Information Systems’ storage for big data. Also, the company plans to additionally develop cloud storage package and big data analysis products to secure competitive products in the big data market and actively pursue domestic and overseas expansion in the future.
