The Ulsan Plant Nylon & Polyester Fiber PU held a rally to vow to accomplish the “TPM Innovation Activity 5-Step Success” at the Ulsan Plant on July 13. Plant director Park Seok-hwa said in a welcoming address, “The 5-Step TPM activities are innovative activities that should be performed to survive in the infinite competition of the world, rather than to improve productivity. The self-reliance activity that is the basis of the TPM 5-Step activities is the most fundamental activity required to establish a safe, clean, and waste-free workplace that maximizes effects, regardless of corporate scale or business type.” During the event, TPM team leaders received appointment certificates, and the employees reaffirmed their resolve following the oath initiated by Deputy Dept. Head Song Tae-wan of Ulsan Plant Medical Device Production Team 2.
