Hyosung Wins 3 Prizes at the Web Awards Korea

    Hyosung won three prizes in the 8th Web Awards Korea, an annual award ceremony held to recognize innovative and high-quality websites, which took place on January 11, at Lotte Hotel in Jamsil, Seoul. Hyosung won the grand prize in the general company category, the grand prize in the mobile web marketing category and the top prize in the webzine customer support/service category.

    The company’s group website and mobile site was renewed to strengthen its corporate image promotion, as well as additional websites being introduced to showcase products and allow users to easily recognize its global network at a glance. In addition, the awards highlighted Hyosung’s corporate CSR activities and applied design, befitting the latest global trends, to improve user-friendliness, along with facilitating accessibilities and customer service functions.

    Our webzine was favorably evaluated for running themes in line with the corporate management philosophy to intensify unity and devotion to the company among the employees, as well as for its design to ensure a two-way communication on the message board by allowing users to add their comments to each column.


    Web Awards Korea is an annual awards ceremony organized by KIPFA, the Korean Internet Professionals Association. It is one of the country’s most accredited website awards, selecting the best websites among newly established or renewed websites of the year in terms of different fields based on experts’ evaluation of 40 items in the design, UI/UX, technology, branding, promotion, marketing and services areas.
