Ulsan Plant, which met Hitachi for the first time for so-called ‘kick-off’ meeting in May last year, and held the ground breaking ceremony, finally celebrated the completion of the RE-11 project on August 8. The RE-11 project involves building the largest polymerization facility in Korea that produces 450 tons of PET polymers for tire cords in a day. General Superintendent Cho Chun, plant executives and employees of the Ulsan Plant Pus, project staff and construction managers attended the event. “The success of the RE-11 project will take the first step of a new beginning for Ulsan Plant, and I appreciate the hard work put in by the project and construction staff,” said General Superintendent Cho.
