Hyosung’s R&DB Labs won the Minister of Knowledge Economy’s Award at the 2011 Nano Korea Awards on August 24. The lab developed technology to spread multiple-wall carbon nano-tubes (MWCNT) in engineering plastics, and won for applying the carbon nano-tube compound chip in ATM machines. The 2011 Nano Korea Awards was organized jointly by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology; the awards have been held annually since 2003 to showcase the latest nano-technology and stimulate their commercialization.
