Bae Yong-Bae, the General Manager of Power Transformer Design & Engineering Team II, Power Systems PU was selected to receive the Prime Minister’s Award for Electrical Machines Industry Development Merit. Designing and developing power transformers over the past 3 years, General Manager Bae has made great contributions in the efforts to develop the high-voltage transformer business. He researched transformers for power plants independently without any technology support or agreement with the government, and developed the 765kV transformers (#5 and 6) for Dangjin Thermal Power Plant successfully. His work has contributed to an increase in national gains through increased exports.
