A ceremony is held in commemoration of production of 10,000th General Circuit Breaker

On July 25, the Power & Industrial Systems PG held a ceremony commemorating production of the 10,000th switchgear at its Changwon Plant, with PG President Hyun-moon Cho, Changwon Plant Manager Duck-soo Kim and representatives of subcontractors attending.

In his congratulatory speech, PG President Cho Hyun-moon offered a long-term vision for joining the ranks of the world’s Top 5 power equipment manufacturers within the next decade and asked for the positive participation of all employees in the effort for further development, based on accumulated know-how and technological prowess. At the session, 20 employees were cited for their contributions in the production of General Circuit Breaker.

Hyosung began to produce the ultra-high voltage (170kV) Circuit Breaker in 1978 after establishment of the Changwon Plant in 1977.
