Hyosung R&DB Labs signs "Partnership for exchanges to secure core technology for new growth engines"

Hyosung R&DB Labs signed an agreement with the National Nanofab Center for advance research on technology for future growth engines, on exchanges of comprehensive research, equipment, facilities and personnel, to secure core technology for the development of promising new materials, and electronic materials for the future. By forming a strategic partnership with each other through the agreement on exchange, the two institutes have laid the foundation for mutual
co-operation, including joint research in nano technology and related fields, education of professional and technical staff, and joint purchase of expensive equipment and tools.

The two sides agreed to actively cooperate in diverse fields, including joint and entrusted research on new materials and electronic materials, exchange of researchers, technical and academic exchanges, sharing of research results, and commercialization. In particular, the Company will have access to advanced analysis and assessment technology, and equipment, which the National Nanofab Center operates, and will offer training on equipment operation on a regular basis, while actively pursuing joint use of expensive pieces of equipment which are frequently needed by industries.

Hyosung R&DB Labs will work to make significant contributions to research and development of nano technology and its commercialization through technical the know-how of the National Nanofab Center, joint use of equipment and tools, and cultivation of professional staff.
