- Education of global human resources reinforced to cater to needs at work sites
A residential training camp for rookie staff for 2007 was held at the Namhangang Training Center in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, for 18 days beginning January 2nd.
The training, in which 175 staff participated, provided the staff with classes on company introduction, strategic thinking, basic attitudes of Hyosung staff, and tours to manufacturing plants, all of which were designed to help them adapt to the Company's work environment and corporate culture.
Notably, this year's training featured programs on communication. Specifically, presentations were focused on the need to develop staff into globally competent human resources, in order to work effectively at job sites abroad.
President Lee Sang-woon, attending the opening session held on January 3rd, said "New staff members are urged to strengthen their global capability by developing enthusiasm for work, and learning the basics for work."
