The story how Hyosung's tire cord has made successful forays into world markets was introduced in the program "Secret of Business Success" of KBS, televised on February 12 under the title "The Formidable Power of 350 gram Tire Cord." The program introduced how the Hyosung's tire cord rose to the top position in the world market.
After entering the market in 1967 as the first Korean business to make such an attempt, Hyosung has enhanced its product quality through continued R&D, thus gradually occupying a solid market position in Japan, China, Indonesian, India and the U.S.
In 2004 and 2005, the Hyosung's spandex product 'creora' and Power & Industrial System's ultra-voltage switchgear were also introduced in the same program.
