- Removes possibility for legal dispute over intellectual property
Hyosung won a lawsuit over a patent of spandex textile against a Japanese textile company. The court ruled in favor of the Company in the lawsuit and against Asahi Kasei, a Japanese textile maker, concerning a method to improve chlorine-resistance, saying that Hyosung's technology does not violate the patent right of the Japanese concern.
