Hyosung Information System Co., Ltd. ranked the No.1 in business productivity among storage businesses. According to the Electronic Times, the Company ranked the No.1 in terms of per-employee sales and ordinary profit among the Top Four domestic storage businesses in 2006 based on materials released by the electronic disclosure system of the Financial Supervisory Service.

Hyosung Information System Co., Ltd. is reported to have done better than multinationals, such as IBM Korea, Sun Microsystems Korea and EMC Korea, outdoing them by more than two times in per-employee sales and by two to seven times in per-employee ordinary profit. Such an outstanding result was attributed to its well-arranged collaboration and solidarity between employees as a purely Korean business.

The Electronic Times pointed to the way the Company's employees are engaged in business, centered around tasks, projects and those carrying out production, which results in great synergistic effects, unlike foreign-based businesses where individualism is prevalent. The news media also pointed to the Company's management, which focuses on training employees as multi-players through rotation of assignments, in addition to assigning team projects.

Ryu Pil-gu, President of The Information & Communication PG(Performance Group) said, "It is attributable to our customer-centered mindset and the management's effort to train employees as multi-players that the Company has grown steadily as business specializing in storage solutions for more than 20 years. The management centered on where the action is and close collaboration between employees has been the key to enhancement of our overall productivity."
