At the ‘Top 100 Technologies and Leaders of Korea’ awards ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Engineering of Korea on December 16 at Shilla Hotel, Kim Deok-su plant manager of the Changwon Plant, Choi Su-myeong managing director of Hyosung R&DB Labs and Seo Seung-won managing director of the Production Technology Research Institute of Textile PG were named developers of top 100 technologies. Credit was given to Kim Deok-su, the plant manager of the Changwon Plant for the development of 765kV power transmission equipment and ultra high-voltage transmission and substation equipment, to Choi Su-myeong for the development of tire cord manufacturing technology and to Seo Seung-won for the development of high-performance Spandex production technology. These technologies made great contributions to our opening up the global market.
