PG workers escort developmentally disabled children through tour around 63 City
On November 18th, about 20 workers from the Power & Industrial Systems PG head office showed up at Seoul Jeongmun School, a welfare facility for developmentally-challenged children. The mission of the day was to help the children participate in their field trip to the 63 City (63 Building) in Yeouido. The PG workers chaperoned the students through the tour of the 63 Seaworld Aquarium and the Wax Museum. They also lunched with the children and had a great time.
The PG workers’ day-out with the Jeongmun School children was initiated to show their care and compassion toward the community’s underprivileged members and to implement the PG’s corporate social responsibility. “Seeing how much they enjoy the outing, we felt so wonderful myself,” said some of the participating workers. “We are willing to continue with our volunteer activities if we can be of any help,” they said.
